The Peel lamp series is a product answer to the question “how can metal become softer in its appearance” Experimenting with making organic shapes by turning/twisting each shape when using circles with different circumferences, cut-outs or entirely different shapes.
Designed for Frandsen
The lamp is made as a circle with a slit, that becomes one continuous bend to form both a foot and a shade for the lamp, this makes it cheaper and more sustainable to produce. The open shade helps to give a variety to the light intensities by creating a direct light (lampshade) and an indirect light (gap) adding an ambient/ mood light that acts as a contrast to the hard metal.
